We are part of the body of Christ, the Church universal. We confess Christ as Lord and promise faithfulness to God. Through the Holy Spirit, we are reminded to whom we belong and in whom we have our constant hope. We worship together in the reformed tradition, claiming the redeeming presence of God in our lives through Christ’s death and resurrection as proclaimed in Scripture, and celebrating the sacraments: baptism as a sign of rebirth, and the Lord’s supper as a sign of renewal. We recognize and accept the privileges, responsibilities and risks of being Christ’s disciples by telling the Good News of Christ in the everyday world, by doing what is just in God’s sight, by reaching out to others in God’s name, and by being a reconciling community.
